You know that social media is one of the fastest and most effective ways to reach your target audience. Connecting with potential clients and customers has never been easier. There are however, ways of extending your social media and bringing it all back around to your site to gain even more brand exposure.
The first is the most simple to use, buttons and simple links. Bearing in mind the more links you get out there, the bigger the boost to your overall traffic, you can then connect all of your online marketing together utilizing social media. Almost every social media site out there offers free buttons that are a snap to install directly on your site and installing the code on each page furthers your brand message.
Use of blogs and RSS feeds is also a tremendous way to really beef up your social media campaign and tie it directly to your website. Using a blog to relay knowledge, events and other aspects of your business is smart, and it’s the basic starting point to actual social media engagement. Yet so many people do not use it to its full potential. Most blogging platforms will go ahead and get your RSS feed set up, so you really don’t have to put in much effort to get that going and that will bring readers of your blog to your website via this powerful social media tool directly on the page.
On that same note, there are more buttons for your site. You’ve probably seen Digg, Reddit and StumbleUpon buttons here and there amongst the very familiar Twitter and Facebook buttons. What these sites do is enable their users to not only share content, but to rate it, rank it, and further spread the message. What it does for those site owners utilizing these buttons is that each and every recommendation, each ranking brings traffic. You can also take this a step further and submit the content yourself.

Oh my goodness! an amazing article dude. Thank you However I am experiencing issue with ur rss . Don’t know why Unable to subscribe to it. Is there anyone getting identical rss problem?

Interesting post. I am looking into using social media to market my website and this really helped me understand it more. Thanks for the information..
I hired a college student (marketing major) as an intern to ramp up my social media marketing for my real estate site. I recommend the same to anyone who isn’t up on social media to see if they can hire an inexpensive intern or even an intern who will work on their project for a credit or course requirement. So far I have seen an increase in our traffic. Sales? Another story…
